To establish Whup-A-Bug® as the brand most trusted and the brand that represents the most effective All-Natural Bug Repellent available...the brand by which all future bug repellent products are judged.

Carl and Lee Hughes started producing the Whup-A-Bug® products over 7 years ago.

 

The purpose was to develop a product that would protect children and adults in the villages of the Niger Delta Region in Nigeria.  Carl has worked in West Africa for the past 22 years and has seen far too many deaths due to Malaria and it’s associated diseases.

 

They wanted to develop a product that was safe for everyone and strong enough to discourage all types of insects.  The success, after many formulations and trials in many parts of the world has resulted in this line of products.

 

Carl and Lee spent many hours manufacturing this product in their small factory and most of the product went to the villages and to the medically challenged children’s camps in the United States.  The demand for Whup-A-Bug® has grown by word of mouth to such a degree that it was decided to put the product into the marketplace.

 

Our commitment is to produce the most powerful all-natural product available anywhere and to offer an all-natural alternative to the chemical based products.  If testimonials and customer acceptance is a measure of success, we have certainly succeeded.

Ron L. Moore is the principal in Ron L. Moore, P.A., Law Firm with offices in both Asheville and Waynesville, North Carolina.  He has practiced law all over Western North Carolina for twenty-seven years and continues to do so today.  In addition to practicing law, he has been a certified mediator for seven years.
